2.Pushing Data between Strategic Modeling and Planning Using Data Maps

You can push data between Strategic Modeling and Planning using data maps and Smart Push. Data maps and Smart Push provide an easy-to use interface that automatically maps same-named dimensions and members and allows you to define the mapping between other dimensions and members. You can define complex mappings from one dimension to multiple dimensions. Similarly, you can define mappings from multiple dimensions to one dimension. It includes a Microsoft Excel template to further simplify setting up detailed mapping.

You can define data maps that push data:

  • From a Strategic Modeling model or consolidation to a Planning cube.
  • From a Planning cube to a Strategic Modeling model.

Advanced options let you define complex mappings to or from multiple dimensions to or from a single dimension and between members with different names. These advanced data map options are available only if Strategic Modeling is enabled and is a source or target in the data map.

3.Rest APIs for Managing Users

You can now use REST APIs to perform these user management-related operations:

  • Add users to a group
  • Remove users from a group

1.Export of Adjustments and Transactions as Journal Entries

In Transaction Matching, you can export adjustments or transactions as dual sided journal entries that can then be imported into your ERP system. Using Jobs History, the exported journal entries are made available in a text file.

In addition, attributes for Adjustment and Support Types have now been made global so that you can reuse these attributes by choosing from a drop down list.

The process for exporting adjustments and transactions as journal entries is:

  • Create global attributes for Adjustment and Support Types.
  • Define the journal columns.
  • Map transaction/adjustment attributes to journal attributes.
  • Optionally, when exporting transactions, you can filter the list of transactions.
  • Perform the export of the journal entries in a text file using Jobs History.

2.Able to Create Match Process without an Auto Match Rule

You can now create a match process without an Auto Match rule present. This enables customers who want to perform manual matching only in Transaction Matching to create a match process without any auto matching rule.

Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud

1.Adding Linked Document Files to Management Report Doclets And Reference Doclets

When inserting a Management Reporting report into a report package as a reference doclet, you have the option of linking it to the selected report in the library.
